Visualization

30+ Visualization Types, Ready to Use

MPP BI includes more than 30 visualization types, ready to use out of the box.

KPIs

Trend graphs, KPI cards, and metric displays that put your key numbers in one view.

Maps

Plot data by location, built on standard services like Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, and ArcGIS.

Live schematics

Interactive diagrams of equipment or facilities. Each part responds to clicks and changes color to show its current status.

Heat maps and layouts

Floor plans, shop layouts, and blueprints, with your data laid over the actual space.

Status indicators

Red, yellow, and green signals that show how far each value sits from its target.

Two-axis charts

Compare two metrics with different units on one chart, like sales against temperature.

Rankings and breakdowns

Sort and break down data to surface top and bottom performers.

Drill-down

Move from a high-level number down to the individual transactions behind it.

Target monitoring

Track performance against targets at every level, from executives to daily operations.

Presentations and reports

Turn your dashboards and charts into presentations and reports.

Export

Save charts as images (PNG) and tables as Excel files (XLSX).

Embedding

Embed MPP BI dashboards into any other system or a public website.

AI and Machine Learning Features

MPP BI works with AI and machine learning, applied to your own data. These features are available on request, so you can add the ones you need, when you need them.

Agentic BI

An AI assistant that works inside MPP BI. Just ask it, in plain words, to pull data, build a dashboard, create a report, or look into a question. It does the work and brings you the answer.

Plain-language summaries

MPP BI can add a sentence or two explaining what it shows, so anyone can understand it.

Forecasting

MPP BI looks at your past numbers and shows you what's likely to happen next, so you can plan ahead.

Build your own AI workflows

Connect AI models into your own step-by-step workflows using a simple, no-code tool. Turn any of your data processes into an AI assistant in just a few clicks.

Data preparation

MPP ETL: A Data Preparation Engine

MPP ETL (also called Lizardata) is an add-on for MPP BI. ETL stands for “extract, transform, load”, the standard term for taking data from a source, preparing it, and putting it where it's needed. MPP ETL collects data from your sources, cleans and organizes it, and prepares it for analysis.

Low-code setup

Set up your data flows visually, by connecting blocks together on screen (built on Node-RED). Add your own code when you need more control.

Connect to your sources

Works with Kafka, Redis, SAP RFC, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and any JDBC source.

Support data science work

Includes Jupyter Notebook, a common tool data scientists use to explore and work with data.

Keep up with live data

Processes up to thousands of events per second when handling fast, continuous data.

Handle large volumes

Works through big batches of data from any connected source.

Run faster

Tuned components for PostgreSQL, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Greenplum keep things moving quickly.

Run on a schedule

Set your data flows to run at fixed times, or have them start automatically when an event happens.

Security

Enterprise Security

For industries that want more security, an on-premise deployment is recommended. MPP BI runs on your own servers rather than in the cloud, so your data is fully under your control.

Safe sign-in

  • Staff sign in with their existing company account, like Active Directory, Kerberos, or any LDAP system
  • Fits your existing security setup: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and tools like KeyCloak
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
  • Secure access for connected software via signed JWTs

Data kept safe

  • Passwords are encrypted before storage, the real password is never kept anywhere
  • Everything travels encrypted in transit, the same protection trusted by online banking

You decide who sees what

  • Granular access control: set permissions separately for data sources, cubes, atlases, dashboards, and individual charts
  • Row-level security: two people can open the same dashboard and each see only the records they’re allowed to

A full record of activity

  • SIEM-based logs: every action recorded in a format that plugs into standard security monitoring tools, exportable anytime

On-premise deployment keeps your data fully under your own control, from sign-in through storage to the audit trail.

Customization

Built to Be Customized

This is a BI tool and a development platform in one. Out of the box it does the job. But if your team wants to shape it, almost nothing is off-limits.

Match your brand

Apply your full brand: your colors, fonts, logos, and styling throughout. The result looks like your own product, not a tool you bought.

Build the frontend your way

A JavaScript API lets your developers adjust filters, controls, and other on-screen features. Customization is done in React, the framework MPP BI's interface is built on.

Create your own visuals

Go beyond the standard charts. Build custom views for a single dashboard or redesign the whole interface, including interactive diagrams and facility layouts.

Turn it into a purpose-built tool

Reshape the platform into an application made for one specific job, on top of what’s already here.

Work with the source code

Depending on your license, the source code for all components is available, so your team can see how things work and build with full confidence.

Flexible Deployment

Runs Where You Want

Use your own infrastructure, set up the way you prefer. Whether you keep everything in-house, run it in the cloud, or mix both, it fits how you already work.

On-premise

Runs natively on Rocky Linux 8 and 9, Red Hat Linux, and works with UNIX-compatible systems.

Rocky Linux
Red Hat

In the cloud

Deploy on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

AWS
Azure
Google Cloud

In containers

Ships as Docker containers, one per component, so you can run them together or split them across setups.

Docker

In virtual machines

Comes as a ready-to-use image (OVA) for Hyper-V, VirtualBox, and KVM.

Hyper-V
VirtualBox
KVM
VMware

Start Small or Run a Full Cluster

Run it on a single machine, or across many. Both single-node and multi-node setups are supported, so you can match the size of your deployment to your needs.

Grow as Your Needs Grow

Horizontal scaling: spread the load across extra nodes using the built-in load balancer (Nginx), or split services across separate machines.

Vertical scaling: add more memory and processing power to the machines you already have.

What You'll Need to Run It

← swipe →
Minimum requirement500 users
Node(s)12
Processor8 cores16 cores / each
Memory (RAM)24 GB32 GB / each

High availability: database clustering (Patroni), hot and cold backup options.

Automatic backups: set backups to run on a schedule, so your data is always protected.
